2016 TechAwards finalists announced

Hanover, MD (Mar. 17, 2016) – The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC) recently announced the finalists.

The announcement included the finalists for the Women in Tech (WIT) Award: Vicky Harrison, president and co-founder of Optimium Health Inc.; Marcelle Lee, founding partner at Fractal Security Group, analyst at the Federal Government, and adjunct professor at AACC; and, InfoTeK Corporation’s own CEO, Jacky Kimmel.

The Women in Tech (WIT) Award honors an individual who best exemplifies the outstanding contributions made by women in advancing technology in industry, business and society.

The 2016 Tech Awards event will the region’s rising tech companies, outstanding innovators and all-around top companies. The CRTC received more than 75 submissions for the award categories from a variety of accomplished technology businesses and individuals throughout the Annapolis-Washington-Baltimore region. A 23-member selection committee examined the nominations and voted on the top contenders. Winners will be announced at the 11th annual TechAwards on April 28, 2016, at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel.
