Columbia, Md. – SeaPort-Next Generation (NxG) is the newly awarded IDIQ contract replacing SeaPort-e. NxG serves Naval Sea Systems Command and the Navy SYSCOM partners SPAWAR, NAVFAC, NAVSUP, ONR and USMC. It is a Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Contract (MAC IDIQ) to allow SeaPort-NxG MAC holders to compete for future task order awards in 23 functional areas which are divided into two work categories: engineering support services and program management support services. The MACs have a five-year base period of performance with an additional five-year ordering period option.
