Community Involvement
At InfoTeK, we take pride in giving back to the community. Community involvement is an important part of our corporate standards. Our company and our employees are committed to serving their community through volunteering time and contributing financial support to charitable activities that benefit worthy causes.
Below are some of the organizations and events we’ve supported, both past and present:
Hurricane Sandy Fundraising Event
Thanks to generous donations from the ITK team, Elkridge Elementary School and friends/colleagues of ITK, we were able to donate more than $3,500.00 worth of goods to those in need after Hurricane Sandy struck the New York and New Jersey shorelines. The items ranged from cleaning supplies, clothing, brooms, water, canned goods, and flashlights to batteries, toiletries, diapers and baby formula. ITK matched all donations dollar-for-dollar. We rented a truck and hand-delivered all of the items collected to the Steven Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Staten Island, NY. A special thanks goes out to two of our employees, Jack Mahoney and Dave Roche, for delivering the donated items to New York.
Charities
InfoTeK is proud to donate time, effort, and financial support to our local communities, military services, and a variety of charitable organizations. ITK has aided in the recovery process of natural disasters across the East Coast, as well as provided constant support for societies working to better science and medicine. InfoTeK has also participated in the 12th Annual Praxis Charity Golf Tournament on June 6th, 2018. We helped raise over $35,000 to assist “The Baltimore Station” in the great work that they are doing for our veterans. If you would like to donate to any of these organizations, we welcome and encourage participation!
